Several different deck spindles have been used on various Country Clipper mowers.
This guide will list the different spindles, which ones are used on which mowers, which parts are used on the different spindles, and how to identify which spindle you have.

There was also a cast iron keyed spindle 660-027A used in some years.
The spindles are almost identical, except one has a flat surface, and one has a tapered surface.

Both of the above were replaced by spindle: 609F-091A
(If your spindle is flat, or your parts manual calls for housing 660-028P, you will need two spacer washers (629-237P) to make this spindle sit flat. )
