With engine choices from a 25-hp air-cooled or 26-hp liquid-cooled Kawasaki, or a 27-hp or 28-hp air-cooled Kohler Command Pro power plant, or 31-hp and 37-hp Kawasaki, and up to six feet of grass-eating cutting width, the Boss makes any mowing job faster and easier. Whether the job is 10 or 20 acres of your own property or demanding large-area commercial accounts, the Boss makes quick work of an otherwise all-day project. Our highly responsive joystick control or available dual-lever steering make maneuvering around trees, buildings or fences a breeze.

Our dampened traditional dual-lever steering design is unsurpassed in quality, and it's both highly functional and comfortable. The dual-lever BOSS features the same engine and deck offerings as its joystick counterpart.

 

 

Proven Performance

THE BOSS utilizes a 25-hp air-cooled or 26-hp liquid-cooled Kawasaki, or a 27-hp or 28-hp Kohler Command Pro power plant or 31-hp and 37-hp Kawasaki. All engines feature a heavy-duty canister filter. There’s plenty of power to speed through the big jobs at up to 11-mph, or to pour on the power to plow through acres of tall grass in no time.

Standard hydro pump cooling fans mean a cooler operating transmission drive system, higher performance, and extended hydro pump life.

 

 

Standard Jack/Deck Lift Tool on 72” Decks.

Features:

Patented Deck Design
Our patented stand-up deck design allows the deck to be rotated up for quick and easy maintenance and cleaning. It’s constructed of heavy, all-welded, 10-guage steel with 7-gauge reinforcement to ¼” in strategic areas. The deck and frame are warranted for four years* against functional bending and cracking regardless of the hours. It’s virtually indestructible.

 

Traditional Dual-lever or our highly responsive Joystick. It's your choice. 
The Charger and BOSS feature Country Clipper’s revolutionary joystick steering or traditional dual-lever operation. Both are smooth, heavy-duty controls. Both make mowing a breeze.

 

 

Articulating Front Axle and Deck.
The front axle pivots on heavy-duty tapered roller bearings to give the mower superior terrain following ability. The front of the full floating deck is mounted to the pivoting axle to give it a true articulating deck that virtually eliminates gouging and scalping.

 

 

Big, Oversized Drive Tires.
The large 23” drive tires on 48” and 52” models and 24” drive tires on 60” models mean an easy ride and no turf damage. These mowers are cat-quick and smooth as silk.

 

 

Fully Baffled Deck
Country Clipper decks feature a full complement of front and rear deck baffles for a fast, superb quality cut in the finest Kentucky Bluegrass or the toughest southern Bahia grass.

 

Quick Release System.
With our new Quick Release System ™, under-deck maintenance on Country Clipper mowers is a piece of cake. Simply release a single lever and the back of the deck is unlatched. The QRS eliminates the individual deck hangers on either side of the deck. It makes getting your deck ready to stand up that much easier.

 

 

Light on its feet.
The 13 x 6.50-6 front tires featured on the smallest Country Clipper Commercial mower to the biggest offer a smooth, comfortable ride, and exceptional curb climbing ability. We set the standard in the commercial mower industry.

 

Oversized Deck Rollers
Our 5”-wide anti-scalp rollers are made of a high-impact material that won't break off or crack when they hit an obstacle. With up to five strategically located rollers, scalping problems are virtually a thing of the past.

 

Front “Bullnose” Reinforcement
Choose between a 48", 52", 60", or 72" mowing deck. Every Country Clipper deck features a triangular front “bullnose” reinforcement for unparalleled strength. It's warranted for three years* against functional cracking or bending. It's practically indestructible.

 

Four-point, full floating deck.
A level deck is simple with our four-point easy-adjust system. Four hardened deck-leveling bolts provide convenient, simple adjustment for a full-floating deck.

 

 

Cast Iron Tough
Country Clipper mowers utilize a heavy-duty cast iron spindle housing and a 1⅛ spindle shaft, as well as cast iron pulleys, for years of worry-free operation.

 

Standard hydro oil cooler.
A standard transmission oil cooler means a cooler operating transmission, higher performance, and extended hydro life.

 

 

Deck Height Foot Assist
Change your cutting height from 1” to 4½” from the comfort of your seat with the spring-assisted control lever. Raising and lowering the mowing deck is made even easier with the standard Deck Height Foot Assist. It's also handy for raising the deck when encountering an unexpected obstacle.

 

 

Fully enclosed single fuel tank.
A single 8-gallon fuel tank requires no switching when one tank gets low. It’s fully enclosed, giving it added protection from puncture or as a result of impact with other objects.

 

 

Operator Presence Controls.
A safety interlock allows the operator to leave the mower while the engine‘s running and the deck is disengaged to move obstacles or make other adjustments.
